Why this campaign?
Shut the Trump up! is a purely speculative exercise. Contrived after we read and discussed this article with futurologists Monnik. The article describes a new Google AI that can convincingly replicate anyone’s voice. It’s a long anticipated but still disturbing new development that can drive us further into the age of deep fake.
For obvious reasons it resonated with our 2029 project that explores the future of storytelling and imagination. Storytelling must ring true for it to have some impact – at least in a way the storyteller intended. But what if fact and fiction become truly indistinguishable? How will you establish trust, or experience beauty? How will we, as a culture, adapt?
